Infants up to 18 months:

Additional Information for infants up to 18 months

Inspired by songs and baby games from many countries around the world and the special love between a parent and a child, Peek-a-Boo, I Love You features activities such as Mother Goose rhymes, instrument play and dance.  Each lesson helps you learn how music works to improve your child’s development!

Home Materials: Home CD, board book, duck mitten, gertie ball, lyrics book.

Caregiver attends with child.

18th months to 3 years:

Additional Information for 18 months – 3 years

Take an imaginary fun-filled trip to the zoo!  You and your child will enjoy pretending to visit with the monkeys, giraffes, zebras, elephants, polar bears, lions and more!  Each lesson features singing, movement activities, stories and crafts.

Home Materials: Home CD, animal shaker, poster, weekly crafts

3 to 5 years

Animals A-Dancing

Little Frog is searching for a song and dance that are right for him.  Will it be the elephant swing, the pig roll or the monkey jump? . . . or maybe his own dance!

Caregiver attends last 15 minutes.

On the Road

Take imaginary trips in a bus named “Van Go” to fun-filled vacation destinations such as the carnival, a summer cottage and the beach.  Re-live your childhood with your child – every song is likely to revive a memory from your summers’ past.  Each lesson features singing, movement activities, games, stories and crafts.

5 to 8 years:

Creating Musical Stories

What activity do children in my music classes request the most?  Playing the instruments!!!  Using xylophones, drums, small percussion instruments, singing and movement, your child will help create accompaniment for a new children’s story each week. Creating Musical Stories is not a Kindermusik class and does not come with Kindermusik home materials.

No parental involvement.

Around the World

Learn about and experience the cultures of Germany, Japan, Africa, England and Mexico through the music, crafts and food of each of these countries.  Each class includes singing, movement activities, games, crafts and snacks from five different countries.

Home materials: Ned Redd Book & CD, den den drum, crafts & snacks.

No parental involvement.

Playshops

Designed for children ages 3-5 and their caregiver

PlayShops are fun educational sessions that include songs, movement activities, a story and a craft all centered on a theme. Playshops are not Kindermusik classes and do not come with Kindermusik home materials.

No home materials but does include a take home craft.
