Kindermusik Village classes provide a special place where you can connect with your baby and other families through music and movement.  Each week you’ll dance with your baby, share songs, lullabies and nursery rhymes.  Joyful musical play stimulates your baby’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and engages her senses.  Hickroy Dickory Tickle & Bounce feeds baby’s language development through the rhythmic nature of nursery rhymes and songs while The Rhythm of My Day helps parents incorporate music into many of the routines throughout baby’s daily life.

Young Child students learn to read notes from the treble clef staff, read rhythms, learn musical terms and learn to play 3 instruments  During the fall and spring semester of the first year, the children learn to play songs on the glockenspiel (a barred instrument).  In the fall of the second year, the dulcimer (a string instrument) is added then in the final semester, the recorder (a wind instrument) is added. When children complete the program, they are prepared for success in private music instruction.
