Kindermusik Musicians Year 2, Semester 1
Kindermusik Musicians is the capstone of the Kindermusik program. It is a sequential 4 semester (2 years) program where students learn to read notes from the staff, read rhythms, learn musical terms and learn to play 3 instruments: the glockenspiel (a barred instrument), the dulcimer (a string instrument) and the recorder (a wind instrument). When they complete the program, they are prepared for success in private music instruction.
In the 3rd semester of Kindermusik Musicians, we will continue to build our playing and singing vocabulary and add on a new instrument – the dulcimer!
